You know when you go out looking for some sort of product that will help smooth your skin and help slow down the skins aging process that you are bombarded with hundreds of different products. All of these products claiming to be better than the other and that theirs is the best for all of your anti-aging needs. A lot of these products however, may contain chemicals that could actually be toxic to your skin and cause you to break out because of an allergic reaction to the chemicals. You can avoid this though by making your own products right in you own home. You'll also save yourself a ton of money in the process.

One item you can make is a an egg mask that is for toning your skin. Take a mixing bowl and whip up one egg with a whisk. Whip the egg until it is nice and frothy. Once it's nice and frothy, make sure that you have washed your skin really well. Then take the whipped egg and apply it right to your skin with your fingers. Let the egg dry totally before removing. Once the egg has completely dried you can then proceed to wash the egg off your face with some very warm to cool water. The egg is going to help tone your skin by shrinking your pores. This is why you don't want to use hot water to remove it.

You can also make yourself a scrub that will smooth your skin. You can make this by simply taking three tablespoons of baking soda and combine it with one coup of uncooked oatmeal and mix in a small bowl. After you have mixed the two together you will then add ½ a cup of hot water and mix it all together. Next take the scrub and put in on your face that you have just washed good and massage the scrub into your skin by using a circular motion. Once you are done doing this go ahead and rinse your face with some warm water to remove the scrub. The baking soda has properties in it that will heal and clear your skin and the oatmeal acts as nourishment for the skin and has softening properties.

You can also make yourself a natural eye smoother. Take a bowl and mix together one tablespoon of Jojoba oil with one tablespoon of vitamin E oil. Then add a couple of drops of some Rose essential oil. Mix together good and then take your fingers and massage this oil into the skin that is around your eyes. Make sure to do this in gentle circular motions around your eyes. All of these oils will help to reduce the wrinkles around your eyes.

One other product you can make at home is a mud mask. You can go to a health food store or a natural foods store and buy some French green clay and put it in a bowl. Put about 2 tablespoons of the clay in the bowl and just drip a little bit of water onto it and mix until the consistency is pretty much like some tin toothpaste. Then add some of the Rose essential oil to the clay. You then will apply this to your clean skin and leave it on your face until it dries completely. Once it has dried go ahead and rinse it off with some water that is warm not cold or hot. The Rose oil will nourish and protect your skin and the clay helps to tighten your skin and shrink the pores.
